XP SP2 and MS Baseline Security Analizer 1.2.1

After reinstall XP SP2 using CD created with AutoStreamer integrating SP2 in XP SP1 noticed some troubles with certain programs.
-Pror to reinstal MS Baseline Security Analizer 1.2.1 run withot any problem .Now beside of instalation of msxml 4.0 SP2 Parser and SDK necessary to assure MS Baseline runing, after start the program receiving a message "Your current security settings prohivit running ActiveX controls on this page-as a result the page may not be displayed correctly
and afer....
En error has occured in the line 20
Error- Object doesn't support this property of method
Code 0
Another problem noticed just now. When try to run Sfc \Scannow -only a flash in DOS appear
on Desktop
Before program started normaly with problems I reported (and imposible to fix beside application of MS advices) but now....
SP2 seems to be very problematic, may be was better to wait a while

Yep a nice group of progies, but MS Baseline is not listed.
Sfc /Scannow problem sorted.It was my error as usual.
But this large list of programs that can't work stil remain.

Thanks linney.Found that Windows firewall is on "Automatic"
As I have already Zone Alarm ,what is your opinion -shall I desable Windows firewall or live it.Seems that this firewll is preventing MS Baseline to run.
I am uncertain what to do.

My personal opinion would be to disable XP's firewall and use your current firewall. Again my personal opinion, I am not sure the SP2 firewall is 100% secure either (just from reading newsgroups and my own testing of it), I have actually stopped and disabled the services (2 of them) which run Security Center and Windows Firewall. This is only advisable if you feel comfortable about your security and are competent to manage it.

In any case running two firewalls together is not advisable.

Thanks I'll disable Windows firewall- Zone Alarm is enough,
but not sure if this will solve the problem of MS Baseline Security Analizer .
