XP Services problem. 1

After I uninstalled certain software, and performed a reboot, I noticed that some services are still in the services section, disabled, but still there, the software that these services belong to are no longer on the computer, registry entries relating to the software have been removed, is there a way to remove these services from xp?
 
To delete a service follow the instructions below, you will need to know the name of the servce first.

Click Start > Run and type cmd in the "Open:" line.
Click OK.
Type: sc delete <service name>
Reboot the system
