Hi,
Scenario:
Windows XP Pro logging on to NT Domain.
We created a roaming profile for the XP user, set up the path where the profile is to be stored on the NT server. Checked the permissions (gave the user full control)... in short, we've pretty much followed all the intructions on creating a Roaming user profile (checked both for NT and XP)...
Now, the problem is, when we attempt to log on, we keep getting this error:
"Windows cannot locate the server copy of your roaming profile and is attempting to logon with your local profile. Changes to your profile will not be copied to server when you logoff. Possible causes include network problems or insufficient security rights...."
We've checked the permissions, path, and all possible things that we're aware of. But it just wont read our roaming profile. Is there something else we're missing or does Windows XP work only in AD?
thanks!
