XP revision level unknow

Need some help..upgraded my W2K desktop to XP Pro and after adding it to our 2K Domain I get "Access denied. Revision level unkown" after attempting to logon with domain account. I can only logon locally as admin..I've tried netdom, nltest.exe, re setting computer account, removing re-adding no such luck..can't find anything on Tech Net or MSKB either..has anyone seen this behavior before, and if so what did you do to get it fixed..really appreciate any help/suggestions anyone may have.

It sounds like the revision level of the SID is wrong. The SID is in the form of S-R-I-SA-SA..., where R is the revision level. R can only be 1.

It is indicative of corruption in the LSA.

Thanks Bill I was afraid that might be a possible cause. In the interim I've done a paralell install so I could save some of my files and will eventually do a new install.
