Hello,

Does anybody know how to remote desktop other users computers with out logging off the current user?
Is this possible? I have users overseas and this will be a great feature to have :)
Please let me know if anybody had a success... so far, i have to ask them for their password, which i would like to avoid.
Thanks.

If you want Remote desktop while users stay logged in, it is not Remote Desktop anymore, it is Remote Assistance.
The purpose of Remote Desktop is .. to work remotely on your desktop, not while you are 'already there'. ..
If it is for support, you need the Remote Assistance option. The solution is out there. [morning]

Thank you. And 'yes' that is what we need. Remote assitant, but i am assuming that we have to change or activate, remote assistance in ... active directory? would you know where do we set the permissions?
Thanks again,

AD, in XP?
Nope, you need to setup the receiving PC (the host) to allow to receive and control via Remote Assistance.
Local security policies may need to be changed, but that is to be investigated by you. The solution is out there. [morning]
