Hi all

Could anyone point me towards any sites that have any info on the relative reliability/stability and performance of XP compared to NT.

Thanks
John

Just typing xp vs. nt in a search engine gave me a headache with so many hits...
On a user level, I'm sure you'll agree XP is far superior:
NT has no plug and play.
I used NT for almost 10 years in a work and home environment...and got to appreciate it...but I'd not wanta' go back now that I've used XP!

Thanks for the reply.

The deal is that we have 250 NT boxes which I want to upgrade to XP early next year. Our directors in their infinite wisdom want some facts and figures. There must be some comparisons out there, but they're hard to find. I was hoping that someone already knew where to look.

tell your directors that Microsoft no longer support NT, and this could cause major support problems.....

I've told the directors that NT support is dead. They can't see past the cost of upgrading. You know what it's like...
