XP Profiles Under NT 4.0

Is it possible to have roaming profiles for XP Pro clients under a Win NT 4.0 network. I have heard that you need the users to authenticate with a Win 2K server, is this true? When I set the user rights to restricted they are still able to switch on or off roaming. I would like to force it to roaming. However, I want the user to be able to make some modifications to the profile, shortcuts primarily.

yes you can have XP pro clients on NT domain - just specify profile location in user manager for domains, copy appropriate profile to said location & bob's your uncle.
