I have a laptop with XP PRO and no cd rom drive. I can not get in through the network logon. Any Help?

Need more details. Did this just start, or has it always been like this? Do you have networking installed?

It was a broken laptop a company was throwing away. It is from their network logon. I have a floppy, but no cd rom drive. It has XP Pro on it and I would rather not lose XP PRO by using Fdisk

Thanks for the help

Do you have a make and model of the laptop? Quite often you can get external USB or PC Card devices to add this functionality.

Look again, it explains not only how to download the floppy disk set needed, but how to start the computer using the floppy diskette download.

The download expands into I think 6 disks.

My hope was that between Recovery Console (the floppies) and the fact that you can likely use Safe Mode you can fix the issues without reinstalling XP.
