XP Pro Server 500 error on .asp pages.

http://localhost/test.asp

contains a simple hello world.

First it was trying to download .asp pages b/c the mapping wasn't there, i got that fixed and now i get the server 500 error and this message in the log file...

"The server failed to load application ''. The error was 'The specified metadata was not found."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
