I have WinXP Pro SP2 installed on my laptop. I have just about run out of disk space, so I purchased a new drive.

Is there a way to transfer the install from the current drive to the new drive? (My current install works fine, and is only about 3 months old -- I don't want to reinstall unless I have to.)

I have an external USB2 enclosure that I can place either the new drive or the old drive into.

Thanks!

You can get any drive mirroring software, and mirror your old drive to the new drive. Plug the new drive in place of the old one, and away you go.

Thanks. I have Ghost, and didn't even think about it.

Well there you go. Ghost the old one to the new one, and then swap them.
