I am currently running two sata drives in a striped array (one big HD)and I have installed the a IDE HD onto the primary IDE slot. I am using xp pro. I want two seperate op systems with xp pro on each.
How do I reinstall xp pro onto the IDE HD? I am having issues doing this because I think that during xp pro setup I am being asked to reinstall the s3112 drivers that relate to the sata drives. Detailed instruction would be greatly appreciated.

I have 4 drives in a raid 5 configuration and also two other IDE Drives as C and D drives.

XP pro is installed in each.

When you use the XP set up disc it should give you a listing of all dtives and ask which one you want to install to ( from what I recall I only get the request fro the RAID drivers after I have selected the RAID drive to install to so it appears that it may only be seeing the SATA drive) - if your ide disc is not seen then maybe the jumper settings or bios is wrong.

Thanks for the info. At the moment only the ide drive is being seen during setup but I think I have that sorted now. In Disc Manager however, the ide drive is listed as Disc0 and the Sata drives as Disc 1, how do I swap them around?
