I recently purchased a new agp video card and it ia a Radeon 9600 SE with 128 megs of ram. I had another video card installed and removed it or uninstalled it before going in my box and putting in the new video card. I have put in the latest drivers for my video card and monitor which is a Samsung LCD 21.3 inch.
All works good but when I go into device manager, there is not one video device installed but there are two. Same correct logo but one has (secondary) beside it. I can remove-uninstall the one with secondary beside it's logo but it redetects it when I reboot and it simply reinstalls again. What is this double video device listed and one being termed secondary?
I have also removed or uninstalled all the ATI graphics software, and started over but the same result always happens in that I end up with two video devices.
Any explanation would be certainly appreciated.
