I got a Network with about 10-15 user that connect to it. At any one time I can have up to 10-12 people trying to print at the same times. When that happens some user cannnot connnect to the printer server in order the print.

I have two printer and both are connected to an XP home edition Machine which is the print server. One printer is connected through the Network Card and the other has a USB connection. I have never seen it to have more than 5 session open at one time.

I think the problem is that XP home only allow 5 user to connect at one time because it is a home editions. If that is the case can anyone else think of another way to resolving the problem without updating to another O.S.

Thanks guys and let me know. In the mean time I too will do a little research myself.

Thanks in advance for all of your help! Always learn something new when I am in this forum.

Xp Home Edition = 5 connections
Xp Professional = 10 connections

Thanks Bcastner! Here's what I am thinking!

Is there anyway to close the session if the user does not have any activitiies after a certain amount of times on the Home Edition? I hate to reinstall everything!
