I have a large number of xp machines not picking up the group policy. When a we test this machine with a test user in the group policy xp machine very very slow and finally once they logon NO group policy. Group Policy is running from a windows 2k server. Group policy is configured for users. We have a group of users who I have limited the desktop and give access only to certain software programs (folder redirection). XP machines have been rejoined to domain twice. Have been given static IP address. Tested logging on with a user not in the group policy and logons on fast. I need some help, is there anything within the XP machine that can cause logon to be very slow and even then none of the group policy is picked up.
thanks for your help

It could be that DNS is not pointed to your W2k Domain controller.
