xp machine rebooting ?

this xp pro machine reboots when working on any application i done some troubleshooting, the unit is plugged into a apc ups surge protector and have the latest updates to drivers and service packs i looked at event viewer get error sent to microsoft never get a reply back from microsoft any help is appreciated thanks

what error message?
xp is very sensitive with ram, use memtest 2 verify ram is ok.
another thing might be your power supply (2 weak)?
it would be helpfull if you post more info about the system.
