XP howtos

I am trying to perform practicals on windows XP in my test environment to learn how to perform tasks on XP pro, unfortunately im unable to find a decent site on howto perform most of the tasks on XP. Does anyone know of any recommended sites that will aid me with this.

What 'tasks' are you trying to do?

Set up a network connection?
Compile a program?
Edit graphics?
Click the Start button?
Set up Outlook?
Surf the Internet?

A little more specific info may help.

For this instance you would use something called

http://www.google.ca

or

http://www.google.com

and simply type "windows xp howto's" or "windows xp guides" and you will find thousands of pages to surf.

I usually dont like sending people to a search engine but for such a broad question there is no choice.

You could have a look at the FAQ's written by members of Tek-Tips for some common and some unusual problems concerning XP.
