Problem:

Just added 2 XP Home PC's to an existing 3 PC (XP Also) Network. The new PC's can see the workgroup and all printers. The problem is that I can't seem to share the My Doc's folder on an existing PC with the new ones. It says access denied. Why would this happen? The user and group settings seem to be correct. It's probably a setting on the older PC. Someone mentioned the guest account being disabled by default. Any Ideas?

ensure the protocols are the same on all machines. Ie tcp/ip, file print sharing. Also ensure that your xp firewall is off.

Make the username and password entries for the new computers A & B, as new usernames and passwords on computers C,D & E. And vice-versa.

By default the user profile, including My Documents, is not shared and reserved by the user of that profile. Right-click on the My Document folder and give the group Everyone full rights under the Advanced tab window.
