New to forum, system hung last week and stopped at loading the agp440.sys driver. getting no errors. Have an HP athalon 2.4 GH with a 60gig maxtor and 512 of ram. Have seen different solution all over the web but nothing consistent. Can not boot to OS, can not boot to recovery partition, HP help desk is sending me a recovery CD, will try to do a non-destructive system retore of XP system files so I don't lose any data. Any suggestions would be appreciated before I try and do the restore... thanks for the help in advance
