I have already posted this on the XP forum so if this seems familiar thats why
We are using NT Server 4.0 with service pack 6, our workstations are XP and NT. the NT workstations get their dhcp lease and its set to last 9 days and then they renew the lease. The XP machines renew their lease everytime the computer is turned on. We are wondering why it only happens to the XP machines and how to fix it.
Also we are having login trouble, it takes from 5 to 10 mins and we have tried changing many things and nothing seems to stop this problem.
We use DNS and WINS but not LMHOSTS.
