I just purchased a Dell Inspiron 2650 w/ XP. It has 256mb & 1.5Mhz. Occasionally while working in different programs (explorer, word, lotus, etc) the system will lock up. I'm able to unlock it by hitting the <FN> + <suspend> keys. This then takes the system back to normal. However this is beginning to occur a couple times a day and starting to be a hinderance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...

Next time it locks up, hit CTL-ALT-DELETE and check out the task list to see what exactly is locking it up. Without knowing what exactly is freezing, I can't give much more than the standard, "Make sure your drivers are updated" line. Jennifer Sigman

First thing I woud check would be the power options in the control panel. Just make sure they are as needed.
