I can set up a default user account no problem. Basically, create a user, log in, set that up and then copy all those files to the defaultuser account. No problem there.

I want however that when I create a new user account and all the defaultuser stuff gets copied over to have the user set up in "Classic View" as well as all the other tweaks such as Toolbar unlocked, icons not grouped on the taskbar, etc.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Josh

Use the file transfer wizzard. Set up your default user how you like, then use the file transfer wizzard to take all the settings and save them in a folder. Next log on with whatever user you want run the wizzard again and load the settings from the file you saved.

Create a new account and change its settings as per what you want as default, then log out and log on as Administrator. Use the copy to function from System Properties, Advanced Tab, User Profiles button to copy the newly created user profile to the folder \Documents and Settings\Default User (good idea to backup the original contents first - as this will overwrite, in case you want to go back). Set permission for everyone to use.

Now all new users will get that profile setup when they logon.

Thank You. I will try this out tomorrow at work.

THanks for all the help,

Josh
