XP clients on our AD Domain are having problems resolving Internet addresses when they are off the network. For instance if they are in a hotel using a dial-up internet connection. The computers can ping ip addresses on the internet but cannot resolve the addresses. I'm thinking it may be a setting in Group Policy pointing to our internal DNS server for resolving, but I cannot find where it would be. Any ideas?? Thanks for your suggestions.

Right-click on My Computer and select Properties; right-click on the Network connection and select Properties.

Select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on Properties. Check the "Obtain DNS Server Automatically" check box.
