IS-IT--Management
We have a division that is running a Windows 2000 SBS File server with predominantely Win 98 clients. We have been trying to migrate them to XP clients but the office manager has been resistant. He claims that every time he adds a XP machine to the network the network grinds to halt. Being that this division is several states away and a low priority I have not been able to see this condition first hand. Is this possible that one machine running XP (basic install with common programs, i.e. MS Office) can slow down the entire network? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
