XP Build Disc 1

Making a build disc and have managed to iron out a couple of issues. Have made a few .reg files which update after install, but the one thing I would like to have is all security updates install. Tried looking through the microsoft site and still a little lost.

Appears this can be done with update.exe (which also includes qchain), but where is this application? Searched my install disc and nothing. Tried typing this into the command line after install and nothing. Any help gratefully received.

Any usefull tips on making a build disc also welcome.

If you can wait on this project, Service Pack 2 as a finished product is very soon.

At that point doing an integrated installation makes more sense for a large number of workstations.

Already intergrated SP2 RC2. Will update this if the service pack gets reclease shortly.

Thanks for the link. Upon reading I think I misunderstood and its not actually an app more what the updates are built upon and therefore they all contain the update.exe and qchain funtionality.

Don't suppose anybody is aware of which updates are already incorporated into the service packs. Tried reading MS site on SP2 and appear to be going in circles.
