We are running server 2000 and are backing up nightly, about 50 gigs worth of information with the default windows backup utility. My question is... is there a way to split up the backup files after they have been backed up so that I can fit them onto DL DVD+R disks (8.5gb)? Right now, we have at least two backup files that are larger than 20gigs. We are downloading them nightly onto a large HD, and at the end of the month, we are doing a full backup which we plan to burn onto the DVD's. Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks!

I have not used this personally, but I am looking at many solutions to a backup problem I have posted, and I saw this software. AccuSplit v3.6 - Claims to even work on windows backup files larger than 16gig. Hope it gets you something to start with.
