When I try to create an image file of a CD with clonecd my drive just spins and the timer counts and nothing ever happens, it just keeps going and going. It always worked fine on 98... but doesn't seem to be working on XP. Also, I installed max payne... it installed fine but when I go to play the game the same type of thing happens... the loading screen comes up but the drive just spins and nothing ever happens. I have the latest drivers for the drive, or the only ones i could get anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am using XP-RTM, XP-Pro 2600, and XP-Pro OEM, and have use ezcd5.02/ Nero 5.5.40 and my Sony CDRW CRX-140. to make backup CD copies of all of them. I have had no problems. and also convert all the prog to ISO's this way. for easier storage. Frank Smith

Im sure the SONY 160 is on the compatiblity list. but many XP testors have had problems with CLONE-CD.. switch to either EZCD or Nero.
