XP activation

Hi,

I upgraded XP Home to XP Pro and then reloaded XP Home because I suspected that the XP Pro disk had previously
been activated.

To reload XP Home it offered me the option to reload the C:\WINDOWS directory. I took this option and went ahead.

When it was finished I activated it. Would it definitely
activate the XP Home or could there be files left over from
the XP Pro that would cause the XP Pro to be activated? If the XP Pro had previously been activated would it allow activation of the XP Pro again?

As a repair reinstallation of XP Home on top of XP Pro is not possible, you did a fresh reinstallation. You activated XP Home.
