Hi,
Is it possible for a Windows XP client to access Active Directory on a windows 2000 server.

The reason I ask is that I want to give the person who logs our helpdesk requests (on XP) the ability to change a users password without having to log into windows 2000

Thanks
Caspa

Either let them remote desktop into one of the servers and use the AD tools there or go to microsoft and download the admin tools for 2003. They will install on XP and work great. That is how I am set up.

Cheers,

Yeah I didn't want her to use remote desktop and I've just found out about 2003 admin pak myself and am playing with it now.

Thanks a lot

MC
