It seems a bit sluggish in logging off or shutting down. It takes a good 1.5 minutes before it even shows a "shutting down" dialog. Also, it's a beefy enough box to have decent performance. In my experience with nt4/98/win2k I haven't noticed this problem.

Thanks

Do you by any chance have an Nvidia graphics card? If you do it may be the Nvidia Driver Helper Service that is causing a slow shutdown. I too noticed this once I installed the new detonator drivers for my Geforce2 MX32 video card. To check, go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools. Scroll down to Nvidia Driver Helper Service and disable it. This will make the shut down much speedier.

Sorry about the extra step...After you get to Adminstrative Tools, select Services. There you scroll down to Nvidia Helper File and try disabling that.
