Hello everyone,

I will be deploying a new three node farm utilising XP 1.0 with FR3 on Windows 2000. In the past it was given advise to avoid SP4 like the plague. I would like a consesus as to whether enough time has passed and the currently available hotfixes and patches available have since corrected all the major issues and annoyances with deploying Service Pack 4.

I have not deployed XP 1.0 in the past though I do have citrix administration experience. My only concern of going with SP4 per many posts advice is having problems and not knowing these are problems that should really not be and have been caused by SP4's incompatibilies. By the same token however, I really would prefer not deploying anything older then Service Pack 4 to a new fresh installation, as my other 14 servers are all running SP4 and I would like to keep things as standardized as possible.

If SP4 is the way to go, in which Im sure many would agree being a fresh new installation, what are the neccesary fixes and patches that are REQUIRED to be applied? of last count I seen there was over 100 post SP4 hotfixes available.

Thanks in advance for making this a great place to post questions.
