Well first things first.
I have an ACD sup. that wants her main line to appear on the default screen on a 3904. At the moment it is on 6. I tried to switch it with 5 by moving OBV to 6, and got a message that OBV was a non-trace number.
She also want to have the message waiting lamp light on her private did. I have notices that when I tried to add an ext. on other phones to test that it does not come on with xmwk, with smwa in cls it does not work.(3904,2004ip,2616) But this is not a system wide thing.

Tried to out this and rebuild it from terminal also.
Would realy like some help.

1st problem is making a change on any acd set will cause strange problems.. if a supv needs her pvt line as a pdn, then she should not expect acd features.. 80 percent of background on a spv set is built around the pdn being the acd dn.. if someone here moved a spv key here and moved it back, i would freeze changes until i could schedule a reload..

build a new phone, spv, key 0 acd dn with rmwk, or xmwk, see if that clears the problem.. do not use the copy command.

Well I outed it, rebuilt it and even updated the firmware and tried pointing to it with the agent id. it's still no go. thank guys anyway.
hope there's a patch.

I'm mostly w/ JP here, $$ bets on corruption? Can you print your ACDN in LD 20? Print a DNB of the ACDN that the supervisor set BELONGED to, sometimes you can tell corruption that way. Also print the DNB for the private DN of the supervisor's set, and cut/paste the output from both exactly.

Pardon my confusion (I just re-read) - does her DN 5143 appear on another set somewhere? If not, you don't need XMWK - the PBX will look for the DN to light the set even if its not the PDN.

So if her Dn 5143 only appears on her phone, whether its the PDN or not, it will work fine - no need for an XMWK.

GHTrout is right too - LMPX not required, but will light the lamp if you want it too....

From the NTP's:

Multiple message waiting indications on one set
Prior to the MWDN feature, where more than one DN was configured on one
set, only the Primary Directory Number (PDN) -- or the single appearance
non-PDN -- had a Message Waiting Key (MWK) and the LED for the
message waiting indication. There was no message waiting indication for
DNs other than the PDN.
The MWDN feature allows a user to have a separate MWK, called the
Extended Message Waiting Key (XMWK), for each of the mailbox DNs
configured on that set. The DN associated with the XMWK must be
configured as a non-PDN on that set.
The XMWK starts flashing when a new voice message is received for the DN
associated with this key. Once all the new voice messages have been
retrieved, the indication on the XMWK associated with that DN is canceled.
Multiple message waiting indications on one set has application for
environments where one set has the DNs for several individuals. Figure 66
shows a scenario where an administrative assistant monitors the DNs for
several individuals from the set.

Time and patience ran out yesterday...sorry guys.

Print a DNB of the supervisor's private DN, and also print a DNB of the ACDN, both in LD 20 please. We can tell from that, sometimes, if there's corruption.

If 5143 appears ONLY on that phone, you don't need XMWK at all, you should use a regular message waiting key on key 16 (for a 3904).

If it doesn't work after that, you've either got corruption, or your voicemail message waiting is configured wrong.

As for OTM - don't trust it. Change the status of that set to "NEW" then "OUT" then do another retrieve all and reconcile, it'll come up right. Its database is just out of sync; has nothing to do with the actual PBX.
