XMWK key doesn't blink for VMB

Hi all,
Got a weird one. I have a particular VMB that a lot of people need to monitor. As such the DN rings on many sets, but it seems properly MARP'd in our switchroom.

I put a key for XMWK on several sets, but the key doesn't blink when I drop a message there, as it should.

Ever seen that? Am I missing a detail of Class of Service for the TN or the VMB?

Has the box ever been cleared out?

This could be a problem where new messages don't trigger the light because the system thinks the light is already on.

Clear out the messages so the system turns the light off.

Then the next message that comes in will trigger it to turn the light on for all the phones.

Interesting. Thanks Tanselm. Box does get cleared out every now and then, but I forgot to mention one thing.

The VMB had a different set listed as MWI, that was by design. I went into the voicemail box, set MWI to the MARP'd DN, then the XMWK keys started blinking on all sets.

I didn't know there was a connection there with the MWI definition for a VMB and XMWK keys, but I guess there is.
