Xmodem IOS install

After installing a new IOS on a 3620 router, it gets to 'self decompressing the image: ###etc{[ok]' and the cursor sits on the next line blinking. If I hard reboot the router it does the same thing. The router seem to be unresponsive. Any ideas??

sounds like a corrupt IOS or an IOS platform mis-match, check that it is the correct IOS for the platform and re-install it if correct.

Thanks, I've start loading a different IOS. I'll have a better idea in 30minutes. cheers
