xml import error

Gurus,
When using xmlimport as below, I get the following errror

Parser Error: An exception occurred! Type:RuntimeException, Message:The primary document entity could not be opened. Id=c:\imp2.xml ColumnNumber: 0 ErrType: 3 LineNumber: 0 PublicID: SystemID:

Some points are:
1. imp2.xml file first dtd line is below:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

2. Note that the xmlimport file is an export of form templates.

3. Whereever you place the file in client c:\ drive or livelink machine c:\ drive or server opentext drive or server support drive the same error comes

4. The log file info on the error is bogus as I could not locate the file anywhere in client or in server.

What am I missing. Is the dtd line wrong. Should it be changed.

Please guide.

I got it.

The path should have server UNC path like \\servername\c$\imp2.xml
