XML Export? Or: How to export news items

I'm trying to export news items from Livelink.

When I try to use XMLExport I'm getting the following error:

/livelink/livelink.exe?func=ll&objAction=XMLExport&objId=11254143&scope=sub

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

The following tags were not closed: livelink, llnode, llnode. Error processing resource
------------------------------------------------------------

The manual is not very clear about the usage of this function.
