I have a large detailed inventory and multiple customers. The inventory is grouped by type of course.

When I change a detail in a specific inventory line item row (within a group), how can I use a master spreadsheet or workbook to immediately update that item's change?

Instead of [painful, tedious] row by row and cell by cell linking forward to the master workbook, can I use a "named" region to interact with the details?

Thanks for any clues to saving painful detail links.
