Hi Guys
I need some advice.

I have a client who requires a Voice recording library And Agent stats.

I have recently installed CCR and Contact Store at one of our clients but it was a pain to install and not that user friendly.

I have seen screenshots of Xima but never used it.

What are the pro's and con's for both and what does Xima price up like against CCR and Contact Store?

Regards Skippy

Xima works, as for pricing you need to find the pricing from Xima if you are a reseller and CCR you can get from your disti. I would say Xima is cheaper but I am really guessing as we have not sold CCR in years

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.

We use Xima both for call registration/reporting and call recording and we are a lot more statisfied with Xima as we ever were with Contactstore.

A simple mind delivers great solutions

CCR is only cheaper from about 20-25 agents and above.

CCR isnt cheaper in pain.

ccr failed big time.
xima is installed in 5 minutes.
ccr is broken in 5 minutes :)
xima is way better.

I've got to agree with the above. I took me 3 days of pain to get CCR working properly in house. When we made the switch to sell Xima it took me 30 minutes. And CCR never did work as well as I wanted it to. Contact store was ok, but I'd pay double the CCR price to go with Xima instead.

On top of that, Xima runs on the same server as my VMpro, allowing me to pull the CCR server out. I still haven't had time to really play with the Application Server software to get Xima to run in Linux on that server which would be great to save to huge cost of a MS Server 200X license.

Xima all they way over CCR. Also consider Datel. They have a few more/different options than Xima. We have deployed Xima on the external Avaya server, running Linux. No issues

No saying ccr is not even close

Xima demo has single handedly sold us multiple iPos
