I have an x86 Family 6 Model 7 Stepping processor in a server supporting windows 2000, sql server, cold fusion mx and a web server.
And it is running slow..
There are about 300 websites running on the server so even on a slow day we get 6k in hits..
Anyway the sites on it and the server itself through terminal services, remote desktop, or pc anywhere runs very slow..
I need to know if that chip is qualified to power this system... Google tells me that its 497~ mhz..
There's a gb of ram in the system, so I think the ram is enduring most of the load...
All help appreciated.
