Hello,
one of our customers has a x700 on his central site. On one of the external sites we have a x5 edge which serves a dvcp tunnel to the central x700.
The wan1 if of the x5 is connected via a static ip to the internet. the wan2 if is connected to an isdn router which makes a dial-up connection to the ISP with an dynamic ip when the wan1 connection fails. The wan failover license is activated.
The problem is that serveral times a week, sometimes a day, the x5 switches over to the wan2 failover although there's no problem with the wan1 connection. And then never falls back to the wan1 connection until we reboot the box.
Has anyome expericed the same issue?
What 'ping hosts' have you used for the box to check if one of the interfaces is down?
