x.25 connection

I want to develop a messaging application that will ultimately run on X.25 WAN connection. Does anyone have any idea where and how to start. please help

May sound corny but those connections are more common in Europe than in the states. It's an older upgraded standard running at 2 mbps. You might do a search for any European/UK programming forums and go from there.
