I NEED THE SETTINGS FOR A WYSE 520 TO CONNECT TO A OPTION 11. NOT THE 8/NONE/ONE BUT THE TERMINAL TYPE ETC. NON OF THE COMBINATIONS I HAVE TRIED SEAM TO WORK. KEEP GETING JUNK OR PRINT 1/2 PAGE AND THEN LOCK UP.
THANKS

VT220 (Since you need that for MerMail, it is the suggested emulation for an Option 11)

As for speed, just open the cabinet and the dip switches tell you the speed of Port 0. Port 1 and 2 and done in software (LD 17 ADAN)

maybe

if you go past the page buffer, you will lock up the TTY if the terminal cannot keep up with the PBX (Serial Uart/processor is slow...), only option then is to slow the connection down to 2400 or 1200bps. till it's able to keep up with the PBX printout.

The TTY octopuss cable conntected to the VT520 will tell you the port number. Print this port in LD 22 ADAN. WHat baud is this set up as? In your Communictation setting of the VT520 set transmit speed to this and make Receive speed = to Transmit sppen. 8/N/1 is standard.
