WSUS Help

I have set up an organization unit named wsus and put the computers that I want to receive updates in it. I then linked the policy object to the organization unit. On the domain policy there is a policy pointing to the old sus server. I have set the wsus policy to enforced, but it still doesnt work. The wsus only contains computer objects and this may be the problem. I am just not sure how to get this working.

If the SUS server is gone then you could get rid of those settings. Have you used gpresult on a station to see if the policy is being picked up.

Also is the WSUS server configured for client side targeting? (Options - Use Group Policy or registry settings on computers)

Are you using Client-based targeting in WSUS?
