IS-IT--Management
I recently migrated from SUS to WSUS on the same server.
I am now at the point of installing a certificate in order to use SSL.
I can't get this to work, for some reason, even though it worked with SUS.
I created a request, submitted it to a CA, installed it in IIS (on WSUS Admin root site). At this point I didn't even try to require it, since I am just testing. It still didn't work. At first it would prompt me about the certificate (since it is a lcoal CA and not trusted) but it was the certificate SUS was using on the default website, not the WSUS certificate. Then I removed the certificate from the default website and tried again. It didn't prompt me and just gave me a blank page. I then assigned the certificate I created for the WSUS site to the default website and it prompted me again with the right certificate this time but again took me to a blank page.
What am I doing wrong?
Do I need to do something different since the WSUS site isn't under the default website?
