wsprintf output

Hello,

I don't know why I keep getting these strange numbers with the wsprintf function:

---
.data

cid dw 0
idstring db "ID [%lu] = ",0


.code
[...]

INC word ptr [cid]
push [cid]
PUSH offset cidstring
PUSH EDI
CALL wsprintfA

---
and and as an ouput I get:

ID = [115235551] (and so on)
