WS-X6748-GE-TX port 1 not seen

I have a WS-X6748-GE-TX module in slot 1 on a 6509. Slots 5 and 6 have Sup720's.

All ports on this card except port 1 work in slot 1.
All ports including port 1 work when card inserted in slot 2.

Have swapped the 48-port card out with new/spare but still experiencing same symptoms.

Have even tried a different 6509 chassis to no avail.

Anyone else experienced this problem with this setup ?

Using IOS 12.2(17b)SXA software and have a duplicate setup elsewhere on our network and this works fine.

If you do a "show diag" does it show this particular passing the POST tests ?
