Wrong time shown in email

I received an email from a friend which stated it had been sent at 4:41 am. When I queried this, my friend told me his computer clock is showing the correct time. We both live in England.

Does anyone know what could be causing this minor irritation? My computer clock is also showing the correct time.

It's likely an issue with one of the mail servers, but there is the possibility that one of you has you computer set for the correct local time, but the wrong time zone.
