can someone please tell me the code for writing keys into the registry on a local computer and also on to a remote computer Matthew Hankins

An exported .reg file is a straight ASCII file and can be edited with Notepad, or programmatically, as any flat ASCII file - but you must be aware to keep the proper formatting.

For Importing, although I have not done it, I would use the ShellExecute API to open the .reg file, which thru the file associations methodology, should cause the file to be imported. Good Luck
