I have a Word document that I run a macro against to create a flat-file and save to a specific directory. I then want the macro to open up a specific database and either open a table and append the flat-file or execute a macro inside the database that will append the flat-file. Both macros work fine independantly but I want to consolidate them to make one process. Then close down both applications.

Does anyone have an example of how this code would be written. I can't seem to get the code to work, or maybe I don't have to references correct, or maybe you can't do this.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
