WPBI Error Loading Addins 1

I have a user who while opening an existing Excel spreadsheet, gets the following WPBI error: Error Loading Addins. She can click "OK" and Excel continues to run fine. It is "annoying" to the user and quite interesting to me. I have tried to start Excel in safe mode, in which it does not happen. I have gone into the xlstart folder, where I found nothing. I have tried a Repair and still happens... Any ideas as this is going from interesting to driving me crazy.

I am all set now - apparently one of our Accoutning Apps which run off the CDTower has a bit of a problem with Excel...thanks

Hello, I am getting the exact same error in Excel (and I am administrating an accountants office so there are many accounting programs). Would you mind telling me which program was causing the error and what you did to rectify it?

Maybe it's me but I don't see what the cause or fix was can anyone help out on this? I'm also in an accounting firm and would like to know which program it was?

What is interesting for me is this happens when the users are off line and not on the network.

I have found the answer - has to do with an accounting program called PPC. You have to go into the registry localmachine\software\micrisoft\office\excell\addins and click on the wpbi and change the load balancer setting from a 3 to 1.
