After looking at the world's longest thread (Database Help Needed), I looked at the original question. Unless I am really getting old and senile, I think all you need is to create a form, and place the data you want to link in a subform. Link on one-to-many with customer ID (or whatever). Whenever you enter Customer ID on the main form, all the data in the subform shows for that record that is linked. Do I misread your question, or what? Not placing this at the end of the thread (item 83) since it will get lost. I have the feeling that things got kind of complicated.

Thanks..that's how I started out, but I found I could not get the basic forms to do what I wanted. Which may be typical for Access. Part of the long thread problem is the communication error...I am being helped sight unseen..I'd bet it would be easier if she was standing over my shoulder and actually seeing what I need. I am using TekTips Keyword Search, Office 97 Unleashed, Help, and whatever else I can find, so I am not relying solely on her.

Thanks!
Jackie

Nope... I've seen longer threads =) in other forums. However, I would suggest that people keep threads down to one or two questions - then create a new one, otherwise you are probly only going to get help from the people who answered your original question - which is fine, but you are relying on the fact that they have the experience to answer all of your questions.

I don't want to kick a dead horse, Jackie, but I think what you want to do CAN be done simply in Access. Why don't you start a new thread, spell out exactly what you want to do, keep it as simple as possible, and I am reasonably sure that members of this forum will have a solution for you. Good luck.
